And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them. Romans 8:28 (NLT) Hard to believe? Well, it is true. God knew everything about us before we were conceived (Romans 8:29, Jeremiah 1:5). Even before we were put together in our mother's womb, the purpose for our lives was in place. And because of our calling and purpose, everything we have gone through or will face is not outside the will of God nor is it in vain. And when He chose each of us for our specific purpose, He called us unto Himself. Yes, He reconciled us through His Son, Jesus Christ. Ever wonder why you are a Christian? or why God saved you? No, it was not totally your choice or doing. It was predestined. He called you for His purpose and thankfully you said "Yes!" (Matthew 22:14). After accepting our calling, God puts us in right standing with Himself ! So, all the joys, trials, problems, misunderstandings and persecutions we face indicates our growth. God is chipping away all of the flaws in our character. The end result is YOU! In the image of His Son, Jesus Christ! Ready to walk in your purpose.
Are you searching for your purpose in God? Maybe you are still in the growth phase. As you seek God's will for your life through prayer, studying His word and meditation, be willing to follow Him wholeheartedly as He guides you into your purpose. It is already there!
