are you listening?

"Come to Me with your ears wide open. Listen, and you will find life. I will make an everlasting covenant with you. I will give you all the unfailing love I promised to David." Isaiah 55:3 (NLT)

In the "microwave" society in which we live, there are ways constantly being made to speed things up. We want everything quick- a quick response... resolution... result! So to stop and listen.... well that has almost lost it's place!

By sense, most of us are capable of "hearing". But "listening" takes extra effort.... it is intentional... it means to pay close attention.... take heed.... stop.... focus.... wait!

In the above scripture God is telling the people to come.... position themselves.... get focused on Him... with ears inclined.... paying full attention to Him.... to receive life! Everything needed to live!

God wants the same from us today! He wants us to slow down.... focus on Him.... He wants to guide us... give us what we need.... give us life!

Listening to and for God's commands, direction and responses to our issues take time. We have to take time from the hustle and bustle of this busy world.... positioning ourselves physically and spiritually.... LISTENING.... to receive from Him what we need to survive this life and gain eternal life!

"Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what He is saying to the churches. To everyone who is victorious I will give fruit from the tree of life in the paradise of God"

"Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what He is saying to the churches. Whoever is victorious will not be harmed by the second death."

"Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what He is saying to the churches. To everyone who is victorious I will give some of the manna that has been hidden away in heaven. And I will give to each one a white stone, and on the stone will be engraved a new name that no one understands except the one who receives it."

"Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what He is saying to the churches."
Revelations 2:7, 11, 17, 29 (NLT)

God is speaking.... Are you listening? (ref. 1 Samuel 3:10)
